We will show you easy, but fun steps and sequences from a different milonguero each week, with added difficulties for advanced dancers. It is therefore essential that you come with a dance partner.

Sie machte Tanzkarriere in Buenos Aires und New York, wo sie Ballett und Contemporary Dance studierte. Ale hat bisher in Buenos Aires, New York, Paris, Berlin, Wuppertal und Zürich unterrichtet.

On Saturday we invite you to travel in time to practice cool moves from the 50's. Come and feel in your own body, how and why those dancers moved in a certain way. What does attacking the moment and surprising your partner actually mean, and how it creates unexpected dynamics.

Sadly, there are not so many people alive today that danced during the Golden Age of Tango and immediately after. As we know, the recording equipment was not so good and ubiquitous, so some things can only live on through the people that were there and their students.
In the first workshop of their visit to Zurich, come and learn about the most fundamental and difficult aspects of tango: your posture and your walking. In most evenings at the Buenos Aires Sunderland practica, held by Carlos and Rosa Perez, you will find world champions, professionals and amateurs alike practicing, after so many years, their walk.
In truth, the more you invest in understanding your body, working with it under the careful eye of good maestros, the more you shall receive in return. Everything else in Tango is built on this.
Right after we polish our posture and walk, it's time to use it in the giro. Carlos and Rosa teach the giro in the same way you would take a walk in the park: Relaxed, inspired, euphoric. No force, and no uncomfortable moments. We promise sequences that will surprise and amaze, full of humor. Come find out how all giros can be full of harmony and musicality.

Unsere Samstagspractica findet jeden Samstag von 20 bis 22 Uhr statt. Ab 22 Uhr ist dann Milonga - diesmal mit DJ Santango aka Francesco Sanna! Francesco hat ein gutes Gespür für die Stimmung im Saal und bringt die passenden und äusserst harmonischen Tandas, die einfach alle auf die Tanzfläche ziehen! Wir freuen uns auf einen weiteren stimmungsvollen, sommerlichen Tanzabend im Cuartito Azul!
